We are currently looking for a BI Analyst Developer, that will design and develop Business Intelligence applications, to Claranet Group. Your responsibilities include: • Administer, analyse, design and develop Business Intelligence applications in line with best practices; • Propose and implement solutions to meet business requirements across the group; • Provide administrative support for the platforms including day to day maintenance tasks; • Support and improve the existing applications and processes; • Liaise with Business Analysts and/or end-users, team leaders & managers to review and clarify requirements; • Ensure that the design and operation of the solutions are appropriate to meet the information and decision support requirements of the business; • Maintain full documentation and related services together with associated communications documents; • Provide technical input on the capabilities of the platforms and insights on the preferred/best practice way to implement solutions and appropriate trade-offs; • Challenge project stakeholders to ensure that the ideal solution is found. You must have: • At least 3 years’ experience in similar functions; • SQL programming; • Experience with Microsoft Power BI; • Experience with Data Warehouse design (e.g. Dimensional Modelling); • Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS); • Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude; • Self-motivation and commitment to deadlines ; • Ability to prioritise workload and juggle multiple tasks ; • Must be a self-starter and keen to explore new solutions; • Team Player; • Good verbal and written English communications skills; • Adaptable to work with a variety of personalities and styles. Nice to Have: • Azure Synapse/Datawarehouse; • Data Analytics/Machine Learning; • Qlikview administration and development; • Financial knowledge, especially around KPIs; • Dynamism and initiative; • Risk management skills Ability to analyse and solve problems; • Good communication skills; • Easy interpersonal relationship and team spirit; • Focus on achieving results; • Ability to deal with stress and emotional control.
