As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work closely with the Quality Assurance Manager, providing comprehensive and professional support to the Quality Department. Main Responsibilities: • The Quality Assurance Engineer reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager. • Supports the Quality Assurance Manager in all correspondence and meetings with regulatory authorities, internal stake holders and contracted organisations on aircraft maintenance matters, CAMO, and Safety Management Systems. • Assists the Quality Assurance Manager in the production and amendment of the MOE, Compliance Management Manual and Procedures. • Conducting audits of the company and its sub-contractors Reviewing of the MOE, Compliance Management Manual and Procedures • Supports the continuation of approvals by monitoring compliance for the Part 145, CAMO, and Safety Management Systems approvals • Review and preparation of company and mandatory reports • Investigation of maintenance and CAMO errors and preparation of related reports. • Preparing Quality and Technical Records as and when required by the Quality Assurance /Compliance Manager • Assist team leaders to train, develop, coach, induct and shared knowledge with new starters and assist in the development of existing staff. • Ensuring that staff records are maintained and catalogued for each job function and assessments for each function is established including basic/initial, type and continuation training. Profile and skills: • Engineering degree or similar industry qualification • Knowledge of CAMO, Part-145 & any other relevant regulations. • Knowledge of Safety Management Systems • Knowledge of human factors, human performance and limitations • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Portuguese and English. • Competent in the use of general database and Microsoft Office applications. • Responsible, team oriented, resourceful and able to work independently with minimum supervision. • Motivated and committed to Continuous Improvement. • Flexible in approach and adaptable to change. • Quality and Safety inclined • Excellent planning and organizational skills • Willing to travel • Takes initiative with desire to look at things from a different perspective The company offers competitive salaries and benefits along with the opportunity to work for a proven company in a global environment.
