Needs As Project engineer, you will be assigned to a team to work in challenging projects. Your main responsibility is to work within the team to provide cutting-edge design solutions for optical systems in harsh environments. You will have the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team and demonstrate and develop your mechanical design skills. 2. Duties & Responsibilities • Design and development of optical mechanical systems o Design from concept to final product; o CAD implementation (CATIA); o Elaborate detailed technical drawings; o Elaborate and review technical documents; o Perform tolerance analysis; • Design justification and validation o Perform FEM analysis (thermo-mechanical and structural); o Perform parametric studies and hand calculations; o Selection of materials; o Use the appropriate industrial code in design validation. o Identify the best FEM methodology. 3. Minimal Requirements: 3.1 Academic Qualification • Master degree in Engineer (Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical or equivalent); • Good English level. 3.2 Key Technical Knowledge • CAD Software (e.g. CATIA, Solid Works, Solid Edge …); • FEM software (e.g. ANSYS, NX, NASTRAN, Patran …) ; • Knowledge on industrial codes (ASME, RCC-MR ); 3.3 Practical Experience • 3 years of experience in mechanical design and FEA; • International experience is a plus; • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; • Planning and organizing; • Decision-making; • Communication skills; • Ability to ask penetrating questions; • Team work; • Adaptability; • Stress tolerance. 4.
