With our People, iT works better! We are looking for a Data Engineer to integrate a project in Porto. Responsibilities: - Design and build data pipelines (ETLs); - Evolve data models & schema design to support self-service needs; - Use the most appropriated languages and tools to solve data related tasks; - Be a team player and continuously improve the work. Profile: - 5+years of experience in similar roles; - Experience building and maintaining data pipelines in a custom or commercial ETL tool (SSIS, Talend, Informatica, ...); - Proven experience in Data Warehouse environment; - Solid experience in SQL; - Knowledge in distributed systems - Spark is mandatory; - Solid experience at programming with languages such as Java, Scala or Python; - Professional background working in cloud environments ? AWS, GCP, Azure, etc; - Familiarity with continuous delivery principles: version control, unit and automated tests; - Experience working with a BI reporting tool (Tableau, QlikView, PowerBI, Looker, ..) - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to team work; - Fluent in English (spoken and written).
